Olive Grove

La Casa Toscana is located on the outskirts of Akaroa, overlooking TakamatuaBay. Akaroa is a small historic French and British settlement nestled at the heart of an ancient volcano in Canterbury

La Casa Toscana is known by locals and visitors alike as ‘the gateway to Akaroa’. First planted on this picturesque property in 2000, the olive groves are nestled in a valley of 20 acres with fresh water springs, ponds and native woods.

La Casa Toscana uses only olives grown in its own groves. These are free draining with all the benefits of being exposed to full sun. The volcanic rock and soil of the Akaroa region ensures a unique growing environment which is reflected in the high quality of our products.
